PT Reswara Minergi Hartama (“Reswara”) is a thermal coal mine management company with low ash and sulfur concessions in Indonesia. Mine concessions under Reswara are located in South Kalimantan, owned by PT Tunas Inti Abadi (TIA), and in Aceh, through PT Mifa Bersaudara (Mifa) in West Aceh and PT Bara Energi Lestari (BEL) in Nagan Raya, both as concession holders under PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB), another subsidiary of Reswara.

With a total concession area of 3,085 hectares and 32 million tons of coal resources, TIA conducts open cut mining of low ash, low sulphur thermal coal that meets the criteria as “Compliant Coal”. This product is marketed domestically as well as internationally to buyers in India, China, Thailand and the Philippines for use as blending coal.

Mifa and BEL hold exclusives mining rights over a total of 4,629 hectares in Aceh. Total coal resources as per JORC report of July 2017 for December 31 2016 stood at 378 million tons. As of 2007 BEL has been fully operational, supplying independent power plants of PT Energi Alam Raya Semesta (EAS) in Nagan Raya. Mifa started production in 2012 and entered commercial operational phase in January 2015, marked by its initial export to India. From the two mining locations, Reswara in consolidated terms is able to produce up to 20 million metric tons of coal per year, and in 2017 produces 2.65 million metric tons of coal.
