ABM Investama Donates Personal Protactive Equipment (PPE) and Multivitamin Assistance to Medical Personnel

Integrated energy company PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABM), today handed over the assistance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Pasar Rebo and Pasar Minggu Regional Hospital in South Jakarta. The assistance was delivered through a strategic partnership between the company and the non-profit PKPU Human Initiative (HI). This PPE assistance is a form of company support for medical personnel who are at the forefront of handling the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the South Jakarta area.

"The company highly appreciates and supports the medical personnel who are at the forefront in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. This assistance is expected to be an encouragement for health heroes who are currently struggling hard in the field, "said Andi Djajanegara, Director of ABM.

PPE assistance distributed to the two referral hospitals is in the form of a complete hazmat suit, medical gloves, masks, and hand sanitizers. As a complement, the company also gave multivitamin assistance to help maintain the stamina and condition of the medical personnel.

As known, the needs for PPE for medical personnel is still high. While the availability of supplies is very limited and the price has jumped sharply.

In addition to the two hospitals, ABM had previously handed over the same assistance to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM). Not only in Jakarta, ABM also distributes PPE assistance to medical personnel in the area and conducts socialization about the corona virus and provides basic needs assistance to local residents in Meulaboh, Aceh Province through its subsidiary, PT Mifa Bersaudara.

In the future, ABM will continue to coordinate with the Government and all parties to cope with this Covid-19 disease. "Under current conditions, we cannot fully hand over the handling of this outbreak to the Government. It is necessary to have the spirit of mutual cooperation of all parties, including business people, so that Covid-19 can be overcome immediately, "said Andi.

Meanwhile, President of Human Initiative, Tomy Hendrajati, explained that the handling of Covid-19 requires synergy of all parties, including from the business world.
