JAKARTA, 18 March 2022 — Armed with more than 44 years of experience and capability in engineering and manufacturing, PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (PT SSB) which is a subsidiary of PT ABM Investama Tbk (IDX: ABMM) released its newest product in the OHT Body class/Dump Body named Optiload. Introduced online through an event titled 'Virtual Product Showcase: Optiload', SSB introduced Optiload as an answer to a number of problems in customer operational lines such as increasing mining productivity, unit availability, and unit delivery time effectiveness.

Director of PT SSB Johan Budisusetija explained, the presence of this latest product from SSB is also part of SSB's ongoing commitment to increasing customer productivity, as well as encouraging national economic growth. "Optiload's presence is intended for mining companies, especially mining contractors, who often experience difficulties in maximizing operational potential in mining. We hope that our products can be a solution for mining operations, and become a new commodity in the OHT Body and OHT Truck industry," he said.

The latest OHT Body Optiload unit is available in several payload capacities that have been tailored to customer needs, ranging from a capacity of 40 m3, 70 m3, 95 m3, up to 124 m3. In general, Optiload SSB production is able to provide efficiency from various aspects. Both in terms of design, capacity, body weight, maintenance costs, to fuel consumption.

For example, the application of an Optiload unit with a capacity of 70 m3 on a CAT777D/E unit can increase the volume capacity by 16%, decrease body weight by 20%, and increase the target material payload by up to 10 Tons. Increased body capacity, target payload, and the absence of carryback or material left behind will certainly affect the operational process to be more effective, so Optiload is able to reduce the fuel consumption of the truck unit when operating.

As part of its commitment to maintaining product quality, SSB also ensures that the entire Optiload manufacturing process has passed a series of stringent validation tests, to ensure that there are no problems during use. "In the process of developing this Optiload product, it has passed a design validation test to ensure its structural strength and has passed operational tests with our sister company PT Cipta Kridatama (CK)," Johan continued.

In its journey, SSB has produced more than 500 body units. For Optiload itself, it has now managed to get the attention of customers, this is marked by the entry of Optiload unit orders from several mining contractor customers.

This Optiload product launch event is the opening Virtual Showcase of a series of other Virtual Events that cover SSB capabilities, be it products, projects, or services. In its implementation this event was also attended by a number of SSB customers, including,

PT Tambang Raya Usaha Tama, PT Karunia Armada Indonesia, PT Madhani Talatah Nusantara, PT Saptaindra Sejati, and a number of other companies engaged in the Indonesian mining industry.

On the same occasion, SSB also introduced several other new products that customers can get, including; Dump Body size 40-47 m3 for Medium Truck 8x4, Ejector Trailer size 45 m3, Bucket with a capacity of 18 m3 for Excavator 300 Ton class which functions to dig material in mining areas.
