HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF PT. ABM INVESTAMA

2011

In March, PT ABM Investama increased its equity through convertion of Mandatory Convertible Bonds equal to a value of 64,7111% ownership of PT ABM Investama by Valle Verde Ltd, a Singaporean-based company owned by The Hamami Family.

On May 23, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama (SS) established 2 new subsidiaries under the name PT Nagata Bisma Shakti (Nagata), which focuses on renewable energy, and PT Pradipa Aryasatya (Pradita) focusing on thermal energy, in line with its expansion plan into Independent/Captive Power Plants (I/CCP).

On May 26, PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Logistic) also expanded its portfolio through establishing PT Baruna Dirga Dharma (BDD), a coal transport tug & barge service company. On June 26, PT Sanggar Saran a Baja (SSB) established PT Prima Wiguna Parama (PWP) to manage material handling for equipments related to energy industry.

On June 28, Reswara acquired PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB) that operates 2 coal concessions in Aceh namely PT MIFA Bersaudara and PT Bara Energi Lestari (BEL).

On September 21, PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) introduced its new company logo.

On December 6, ABM Investama successfully held its initial public listing at the Indonesia Stock Exchange and officially become a Public Listed Company.

2010

PT ABM Investama becomes the majority shareholders of PT Cipta Kridatama on December 10.

PT Reswara Minergi Hartama was established on November 16, taking the position of holding company for all coal-related business.

In December, to support PT TIA and other coal trading activities, Reswara established a port company named PT Pelabuhan Buana Reja (PBR) to serve the coal industry.

In November 2010, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama acquired minority shares in PT Metaepsi Pejebe Power Generation (Meppogen), a power generation company operating in South Sumatera.

2009

PT Tiara Marga Trakindo acquired PT Adiratna Bani Makmur in August, and changed its name to PT ABM Investama. The company then acquired majority shares in PT Sanggar Sarana Baja, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama, PT CKB Logistics and PT Tunas Inti Abadi. Its also acquired minority shares in PT Cipta Kridatama.

2007

In December, PT Sumberdaya Sewatama and PT Sanggar Sarana Baja acquired PT Tunas Inti Abadi, a compliant coal concession located in South Kalimantan.

2006

PT Cipta Krida Bahari introduced its new branding and company logo as CKB Logistics.

PT Alfa Trans Raya was established as a subsidiary of CKB Logistics on November 28, as a shipping company primarily serving energy-related sectors, and purchased its first ship named Alfa Trans Satu in December.

1997

PT Cipta Kridatama (CK) was established on April 8, to fulfill the market demand for heavy machinery rental, subsequently becoming a contractor for the mining industry.

PT Cipta Krida Bahari, a freight forwarding company, was established on May 9.

1992

PT Sumberdaya Sewatama(SS), a subsidiary of Trakindo was established on March 27, to provide power through leasing power generators for all kinds of projects.

1977

Trakindo established a subsidiary, PT Sanggar Sarana Baja, on March 19, to provide design and fabrication services for the heavy equipment market.

1970

AHK Hamami founded PT Trakindo Utama (Trakindo), which became the sole authorized dealer in Indonesia for Caterpillar heavy equipment and machinery products.
